It’s official – Baggeridge Brick is now part of Wienerberger

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that our recent acquisition of Baggeridge Brick is now complete.

Although we have had a strong presence in the UK brick market for many years promoting our Terca brand of clay facing bricks the acquisition of Baggeridge Brick, one of the UK’s best known brick companies, further enhances our place as a major force in the UK brick industry.

Baggeridge Brick is seen as a perfect fit with the existing Wienerberger UK operations.  With its experienced management team and employees, its potential for synergies and its raw material reserves, Baggeridge will assist with achieving sustainable growth.

Our enlarged business brings you a total of eighteen manufacturing facilities and two distribution depots throughout the UK giving us the ability to be a local supplier on a national scale. Geographically the fit is perfect with the Baggeridge factories giving us a strong presence in the Midlands and the Wienerberger factories providing good locations in the North and South West as well as the only brick factory in Devon, Steer Point, giving us a good presence in the South West as well.

The combined product range is also outstanding. As well as a much larger range of high quality facing bricks, Terca’s strength in red Class B engineering bricks and our attractive continental products combined with the Baggeridge Blue bricks and specials as well as commercial and domestic pavers, our range is second to none.   And it’s not just about bricks and pavers.

Wienerberger UK also has two cladding systems, ArGeTon and Corium and our range of Koramic Clay Roof Tiles to further enhance our product portfolio.
