November is awards season across the construction sector and we are proud to celebrate excellence across both brick, roof and facades. Through our sponsorship, we’ll be recognising the projects which showcase building products in the best possible light. The great news is we’ve got a number of shortlisted entries for many awards which highlight Wienerberger products.
We kick off the month on 3 November with the inaugural SPAB Heritage Awards at Conway Hall, the beautiful 1920s home of the Ethical Society, in Red Lion Square, London. We’re proud to be sponsoring the new Sustainable Heritage Award which advocates the best new design skills being used in upgrading old buildings or adapting them for new uses in a changing environment.
Hot on the heels of this, the following day we will be joining the rest of the industry to celebrate excellence in façade and cladding design at the Facade Awards UK 2022 in Manchester where we’ll be sponsoring the drinks reception. The awards celebrate the achievements of facade contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who demonstrate an outstanding level of technical ability, an excellent quality of work, and showcase the superstars of the industry who have gone unnoticed.
Now in its 46th year, The Brick Awards held in London on 10 November, celebrate the best examples of clay brick in our built environment. Each year the awards attract the entry of exemplary projects from leading architects, housebuilders, developers and contractors, across 17 hotly-contested categories. It benefits from an exceptionally well-credentialled judging panel and has established a reputation as one of the industry’s most respected and well-attended events. We’re proud to be sponsoring the Innovation Award once again and are excited to have a selection of projects shortlisted who have used our products.
We end the month back in Manchester at the Pitched Roofing Awards on 25 November where we are sponsoring the “Best use of concrete and clay tiles for a domestic project” category.
