wienerberger UK & Ireland is proud to share that Perlight Solar, manufacturer of our in-roof solar panels and accompanying accessories, achieved a bronze certificate from EcoVadis, a globally recognised corporate sustainability performance standard. This achievement complements wienerberger’s own gold EcoVadis medal, awarded in November 2024, further reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and responsible practices.

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is a global platform that provides corporate sustainability ratings. It evaluates and monitors the environmental, social, and ethical performance of companies, helping organizations improve their sustainability practices and meet compliance requirements. 

What does the certification cover?

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies across four key pillars:

The assessment is based on internationally recognized frameworks, such as ISO 26000, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ILO conventions, and UN Global Compact principles. The resulting certificates are valid for 12 months.
