Our facing bricks are made with naturally-occurring clay, excavated and then ground and milled to make the particles a consistent size and shape.

The clay is shaped, most commonly through extrusion, and then wire-cut into individual bricks. Alternatively, soft mud bricks are made by pressing or throwing the clay into moulds.

Bricks are then dried and fired at around 1000 degrees Celsius. This temperature is what gives the fired clay facing brick its incredible strength and fire resistance.
