Eco-habitat product donation guidelines

As part of our work to generate positive social impact and boost biodiversity, Wienerberger Limited offers product donations.

Who we support

Wienerberger has committed to supporting nature conservation and promoting biodiversity through our Eco-habitats. As part of that commitment, we aim to collect monitoring data of species using the boxes.

Therefore, whilst we have an ‘open door’ policy for product donations, we prioritize projects and initiatives which align with our biodiversity strategy and can provide the following data on an annual basis for a minimum of five years:

If the box is being used and by what species (exact monitoring and reporting methods will be agreed before any donation is committed);
If breeding is taking place; and
Further information including number of offspring, date of uptake etc.

In addition, we also prioritise activity which mitigates the wider loss of biodiversity in the UK and therefore particularly welcome applications from nature conservation or education organisations.
